This morning, Taylor Sullivan and I worked on shooting broll from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. We also shot the reporter stand up. We got a lot done, but we ran into a lot of problems. First of all, from the time we pulled the tripod out of the bag, it was messed up. One of the legs kept popping out of its little joint. By the time we were done, we couldn't even get the leg to stay in its joint, it would just pop off again. I don't know if the person who had it before us was a little too rough with it or what, but it's really disappointing because the tripod is brand new and it's already messed up. Before I brought the camera to her, I called Michelle and told her about the problem. She told me she had an extra tripod for the anchor shoot but she would take a look at it it see if she could fix it. Michelle is too good for words. The second problem was the the morning manager for the book store wouldn't let us shoot inside, despite the fact that we had just shot in there last semester. It was in the afternoon last time, and the afternoon manager had had no problem. So we had to go to tu tu's and shoot people swiping their cards, as if anyone would use a credit card to buy a coffee and a muffin. I'm going to ABC Action News this afternoon, and I don't know if I will be back in time to finish up this package, but Michelle said that as long as the package was done by 3:00 tomorrow, she didn't care when I worked on it. Thank the Lord for Michelle.
